STOCKHOLM, Oct. 23(SCBR)–Guangzhou Water Group and design and architects delegation led by General Manager Zhu Zhigang visited Hammarbysjostad and Royal Seaport to have a good look at how Swedenbuilds high environmental standards residential and working areas.

Hammaybysjostad is a famous sustainable city model attracting 12000 visitors every
year over the past ten years.Royal Seaport which is under construction is an advanced copy of Hammaybysjostad.
The energy standard is much stricter and the water collection and drainage are also improved.

“We allow developers to use more solar panels and wind power, this energy must be locally produced by 30 percent,” said Daniel Mård, Head of Communication of Royal Seaport.
The goal is to achieve fossil fuel free in 2030, 20 years earlier than the national level, Mård said.
“We build a good working and living area so that people like to live and work there, we spend money first, but later, developers and people will pay us back because we can get more tax, it is a long term issue, but in the long run, we don’t pay in vain,”
